A fussy baby possibly soothed by a way called swaddling, in which the baby is wrapped tiddley in a blanket with arms around the body.
The Nemours Foundation offerings this steering for new parents:
- Expand baby’s encountering blanket, folding over one corner slimly.
- With the head placed above the folded corner, Lay your baby on their back.
- Acquire the left corner and get out it across baby’s body, tucking the corner below baby’s right arm.
- Draw up the bottom corner over the feet so it rests just below baby’s head.
- Take the right corner and wrap it around baby’s body, tucking it beneath baby’s back on the left side. Now, only baby’s head and neck should be exposed.
